We all go through difficult times. Whether you are an adult or adolescent dealing with life stressors, including anxiety, depression, trauma, or relationship issues, you may be in need of someone to walk with you for a time. You may need to heal from past hurt and realize your full potential. You may recognize that you could be living a more productive and satisfying life. Counseling is designed to help you gain greater insight into your life and help you build awareness, compassion, understanding, respect, empathy and acceptance toward yourself and others. Seeking counseling can be a very healing process.

 

My specialties include:

adolescent issues, family conflict, women's issues, relationship issues, depression, anxiety, and trauma.

I value the tools of psychological evaluation, and can provide intellectual, behavioral, and emotional assessment.

 

I use an insight oriented approach along with evidence-based therapies, including:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT),

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT),

Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TFCBT)

For over 20 years I have created a warm, compassionate and non-judgmental atmosphere in which to address life problems and challenges. My passion is to help individuals feel that change is possible through an atmosphere where they can talk about their concerns openly and freely.
